McDermott Construction / McFour Ltd take a serious, responsible attitude to environmental management. Conservation, minimal environmental impact and waste disposal are all premium key issues.

Adverse environmental impacts from our plant/ transport activities are minimised through the avoidance of waste disposal and the use of local suppliers.  Seeking to conserve resources by making the most effective use of energy and raw materials.

McDermott Construction / McFour Ltd pride themselves on excellent standards of house keeping on all their sites and consider themselves to be environmentally conscientious and aware at all times.  it is their prime objective to cooperate and work in conjunction with all their main contractors and clients policies to ensure an appropriate and positive response to all their needs and concerns.

This picture above shows a "badger run" which has 

been built into a new large diameter pipe line. 

 This reduces the effects the pipe will have on the 

local wildlife.

 

 Installation of petrol interceptors on Tunstall bypass contract.  This helps to reduce pollution to the water courses.
